Over the eleven years of the campaign, 87% of those that have taken part have made at least one lasting change. Across the last three years this is a waste reduction by 15kg per person per year (3.5% less waste). Participants are ahead of the global sustainability trend, being 13% more likely to adopt plastic waste avoidance behaviour. For the 2022 campaign, there are 155 events planned including workshops, clean-ups, movie screenings and online forums across six continents.
